CHIRON INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE APPROACH FOR HOME, MOBILE AND CLINICAL ENVIRONMENTS

Second Artemis Technology Conference

Bologna, Italy :
12 and 13 September 2011

After the successful event in Budapest in 2010, the second ARTEMIS Technology Conference will take place in Bologna, Italy on September 12-13, 2011.
Embedded systems know-how lies at the heart of the European industry’s competitiveness, and is a vital element in assuring future economic growth and stability to the benefit of European citizens at large. To address this need, the ambitious European program ARTEMIS has launched over 30 projects since 2008. Four of these ARTEMIS projects will present their intermediate results during the conference: CHIRON, iLAND, SMARCOS and SOFIA.
The aim of the event is to provide public visibility over technical aspects raised and solved by ARTEMIS partners in the field of Smart Environments.  Exchange of ideas will increase R&D results’ effectiveness.

Contributions for presentations, videos, and demos are encouraged from ARTEMIS project participants.
Topic of interest include (but are not limited to):
- interoperability
- information security
- performance and scalability
- modeling of smart environments and smart applications
- smart space ontologies
- context awareness
- smart interactions
- user activity recognition
